After Creeking in California, I came home ready to tackle anything running… which was the Ocoee. Luckily, Hell Hole has a bit more water than usual and was WAY funner than last year. I got big loops, Mcnasty’s, blunt nasty’s, and some felix-ish things that resembled flip-turns more or less. While I’m missing the granite steeps, I’ve been enjoying paddling the Riviera with my dogs out on the lake and this 80 degree weather for sure. Rain on the horizon, hoping we get more than expected so I can get my creek on before packing up for CO next week.
